A cAMP signalosome in primary cilia drives gene expression and kidney cyst formation

In collaboration with Dr Dagmar Wachten’s group at the University of Bonn, Mironid® scientists have published an article in EMBO Reports that outlines the key role of elevated ciliary cAMP in driving cyst formation within the kidney and how Mironid’s long PDE4 isoform selective activator (LoAc®) molecules can reduce the cAMP levels in the cilia and prevent cyst formation.
